I’m going to treat the next four days of the lenten photo-a-day challenge as one. I don’t want to think of this as cheating. Can’t we think of it as efficiency? Otherwise I might be doing this lenten challenge until the 4th of July.

I just started reading Half the Sky by husband and wife team Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.

It’s heartbreaking. It’s really heavy.

But it’s also hopeful.

See. Injustice. Settle. World.

See. Injustice. Settle. World.

As we settle into our comfortable world there is another one out there full of injustice we can’t see.

The injustice in the world asks that we see it and not just settle for blindness.

Open our eyes Lord, so we see the injustice around the world and help us settle on a plan to help.

These women and girls I see in these pages didn’t settle for the injustice the world handed them.

Can we happily settle for a world in which we see so much injustice?

See the injustice in the world and refuse to settle!
